More Pie?=)

Hello all,

Haven't been baking much this week, because...we are out of flour!!
When we buy our flour, we get it in 25 pound bags, so can't just run into town and get some.

But Thursday, we had bible study, so I had to make something.
Luckily, I had a pie crust in the freezer.

Sugar Cream Pie!!

I believe my mother and I are off to get the flour today!!=)

  4. Your pie looks like the Melk Tart recipe I got when I was on a mission trip to South Africa last month. If you would like to see how it compares to the recipe you used (I love to compare recipes)you can find it on my blog.

  7. Yay for more pie! there is no such thing as too much. I buy my flour in huge bags also so it's a serious to-do when I run out.

  11. Don't you just love this kind of pie? It's so old fashioned but is so good it has stood the test of time and is appreciated as much now as it was "back then." My 90-something neighbor introduced me to this pie. She grew up on a dairy and enjoyed it very much and was delighted to share something "new" with me. Definitely a time honored and beloved tradition. Can't see this pie without thinking of that wonderful soul who introduced it to me. thanks!
